‍Fabio spent almost a decade in Montalcino making high octane, highly scored 'parker wine' in Montalcino.

"This life was not for me. I didn't enjoy the wines I was making. Being from Sicily, I've always wanted to produce wines from Etna. So I save my money, year after year and bought a vineyard." Fabio didn't just buy any vineyard, he landed an ungrafted  vineyard of Nerello Mascalese   planted in 1896 at 1,804 ft on the north side of Mount Etna called Contrada Bardazzi.
